JANET LAM, MBA
pRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
Janet Lam is an award-winning professional, AI strategist, business consultant, and seasoned global advisor with over 17 years of experience. She holds an MBA from ESADE Business School and a Mathematics degree from the University of British Columbia.
Prior to founding Building Blocks, Janet was a key member of an advisory team at Canaccord Genuity, the largest independent wealth management and investment banking firm in Canada. She played an instrumental role in advising clients on finance and corporate listing opportunities, including IPOs. Drawing from her strong background in finance, she now bridges the gap between technology and business, leveraging strategic business advisory to drive growth for companies globally.
A serial entrepreneur, Janet has been recognized as one of the Top 100 People in Finance by The Top 100 Magazine and is a proud member of the Forbes Business Council. Featured across numerous media outlets, she has successfully helped companies secure millions in business funding and drive impactful growth through strategic business advisory and innovation.
Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Janet is passionate about empowering entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams. Outside of work, you can find her on the golf course, traveling, or spending time with her Husky. She has visited over 80 cities, with Barcelona holding a special place in her heart, as it was where she completed her MBA.

STEPHANIE LEUNG
pRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
Stephanie received a B.S. in Global Management from the University of Southern California and was part of the Mandarin Language Program in the University of Fudan, China. Her education set her on the path of investment, both in real estate and other businesses, as well as managing others’ investments.
Before that, Stephanie worked closely with NASDAQ-listed multinational manufacturers as a Marketing Executive at Nikkei (Canada) Marketing Limited. There she helped manufacturers to develop a new brand of health supplements, from conception to shelf, and coordinated with the FDA and Health Canada to obtain the proper licensing for all products under new regulations.
Stephanie also worked abroad in Hong Kong for Emphasis Media (rebranded as Publicitas Publishing) in their editorial department, managing four monthly and one quarterly publication for clients, including Studio CX, the entertainment section of Discovery magazine and Executive Traveller’s Companion for Cathay Pacific, Select 300i, and Select Mainscreen for Malaysia Airlines. She is fluent in English, as well as conversational in both Cantonese and Mandarin.
